Overview
The Licensing Board is the local licensing authority for the sale of alcoholic beverages and shall issue all liquor licenses in conformance with MGL Chapter 138 and with the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission. The board also issues Car Dealer licenses in accordance with MGL Chapter 140.
Per MGL Chapter 138, Section 4, both leading political parties must be represented.
