Zoning Board of Appeals
Overview
The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) reviews applications for zoning relief in specific circumstances prescribed by the Zoning Ordinances where standard zoning controls would prevent certain uses or construction without review. Major home occupation special permits as well as commercial permits in the Neighborhood Business zone are reviewed by the ZBA as well as applications for variances.
If you have questions or would like to discuss a potential application, please contact Jeff Bagg.
Meetings
Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of every month. The Planning Department accepts new applications for projects pursuant to these Public Hearing Procedures (PDF).
Agendas & Minutes
Agendas are posted to the website at least 48 hours prior to each meeting and usually by the Friday the week before the scheduled meeting. Minutes are available following approval of the Board; usually after the subsequent meeting. View the ZBA's recent agendas and minutes.
