Historic Architectural Survey Report (2021)

This summary report for the 2021 intensive-level community-wide survey of cultural and architectural resources in the City. The purpose of the project was to assess and document approximately 100 structures in the Main Street Extension area of the city, identify contexts for National Register evaluation, and recommend individual properties and/or districts for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) and Massachusetts State Register of Historic Places (MSRHP) as well as update Massachusetts Historical Commission individual Structure Inventory Forms.

The individual inventory forms associated with this report may be accessed through the Massachusetts Cultural Resource Information System (MACRIS) which is maintained by the Massachusetts Historical Commission. The MACRIS database can also be viewed in a graphical/map web-based application.
