Easthampton Red Sox Trophy Celebration

Easthampton Mayor Nicole LaChapelle to celebrate Easthampton’s 2018 Season Champions with Red Sox Trophy Celebration.

Easthampton, Massachusetts, August 20, 2019 – the athletic and academic year of 2018/2019 was full of championships in Easthampton. On August 24th, 2019, from 12-3 pm, the champions will celebrate their accomplishments with an opportunity to take pictures with the Red Sox trophy at Easthampton High School. The offer is extended to the general public to join in on pictures and celebration of our Easthampton athletic and academic champions.

2018 Season Championships are as follows:

EHS’s We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution along with our dedicated teacher, Ms. Kelley Brown won the We the People Mass. State Champions! Competing against seven other schools in the state finals, EHS won for the second year in a row at the National Conference Center in Boston and earned a spot in the 32nd We the People National Finals in Washington, D.C. from April 26-29.

EBA Boys Suburban Basketball: The 7/8 Boys Suburban team won the Suburban Amateur Basketball League’s Regular Season Blue Division with a record of 15-1. They then went onto win the Blue/Green Playoffs by beating Turners Falls, Belchertown and Greenfield in the Championship game.

EHS Hockey: Won the Western Mass Division 3A Hockey Championship for a second year in a row!

EHS Boys Soccer: Won the Schmid Division League Championship with an 11-1 record. The team finished the season with 17-3-1 record.

EHS Boys Basketball: Won the Bi-County East League Championship with an undefeated 8-0 record. The team finished the season with a 14-6 record.

EHS Softball: Won the Suburban League Championship with a 7-1 record. The team finished the season with an 18-3 record.
